The Artist Behind the Lens

Welcome Mama!

Capturing the beauty of this season, just as it is

Hi! I’m Rebecca — a motherhood and family lifestyle photographer based in beautiful Alameda, California. I’m married to my best friend, and together we’re raising two energetic, curious daughters who fill our days with laughter and plenty of chaos. When I’m not photographing families, you can usually find me gardening with my girls, planning our next DIY home project with my husband, or exploring the incredible outdoor spaces we’re lucky to have here in the Bay Area.

My love for photography started years ago as a creative outlet, but it grew into something much deeper once I became a mom. What began as a hobby quickly became a meaningful way to document my own growing family — the fleeting moments, the tiny details, and all the magic of childhood unfolding in what feels like fast-forward. Some of my favorite images are the ones that capture the little things we wish we could hold onto forever: small hands wrapped around yours, the joy of a toddler’s twirl, the boundless energy that fills a child’s world.

I consider it an honor to create timeless, heartfelt images for families like yours. My goal is to capture your story in a genuine, relaxed way — the connections, the laughter, and the real moments that make your family uniquely you.

I love to be outside! My favorite time of year is when the flowers are blooming. Our family spends a lot of time gardening. My girls love to eat tomatoes from our garden, dig holes for bulbs (and worms!) and run through flower fields with me.

I was so lucky to grow up close to a beach on the East Coast, and also spent a few years on Oahu with my hubs for his career. On a warm summer day, I love to take my girls to splash in the waves and play in the sand. Core childhood memories I hope to pass on.

My hubs convinced me  that we should buy a century old home in need of love the month before our first daughter was born. It has been an unexpected adventure,  but I love that we are slowly (very slowly) making it our own.

My first baby! Our cavapoo, Murphy, is the sweetest dog and loves everyone. Right now he is particularly smitten with my youngest because she loves to feed him her food when mama isn't looking.
