I’ll guide you through the session while following your baby's cues, leaving room for feeding, cuddling, soothing, and all the little moments that make these first weeks yours. Sessions can take place at home or outdoors, depending on what feels right for your family.

The sweet spot for those sleepy newborn photos is typically 7-14 days old. If that timeframe does not work for your family, you haven't missed your chance. Honor your family's timeline. Babies older than one month will offer more eye contact, connection and potentially sweet smiles.
How far in advance should i book an Alameda newborn photographer?
Yes! While I'm based in Alameda, I photograph families throughout the San Francisco Bay Area — including San Francisco, East Bay, Palo Alto & the Peninsula, Marin and beyond.
Do you travel outside Alameda for family and maternity sessions?
Wardrobe greatly impacts the results of your images. I provide detailed tips on styling your family, and am available to help you coordinate outfits so everyone looks and feels beautifully in sync.

Yes — I come to you. In-home newborn sessions are available throughout Alameda and the surrounding East Bay. I work with your home's natural light and the details of your own space to create something personal and true to this moment in your family's life.
Do you photograph newborns in Alameda homes?
Alameda Beach is my personal favorite — especially in the late afternoon when the light is golden and children can run freely. I'll help you choose the right spot for your family depending on the mood and season you're going for.
What location is best in Alameda?
Yes! I have two of my own, volunteer weekly in a school classroom of 3-5 year olds, and primarily photograph younger families. While some children may need time to warm up to the camera, I know we will be able to capture memories you'll cherish during our session.
