For the beautifully real, joy-filled seasons of family life — right here in Berkeley.
The Berkeley Botanical Garden has something for every season and works beautifully for earlier morning sessions with toddlers. UC Berkeley is a natural choice for Cal alumni — nostalgic, beautiful, and a meaningful backdrop for your future Cal Bear.
The running, the laughing, the totally ignoring the camera — that's exactly where the best photos live. And if you're nervous in front of the camera, don't worry. I've got you.

In-home newborn sessions come to you — the light through your windows, the books on the shelves, the details you've chosen for their nursery. No studio, no travel when you're exhausted and still recovering. Just you, your baby, and their first home. Your house doesn't need to be perfect — you just had a baby.

The Berkeley Hills at golden hour, the lushness of the rose garden, the drama of Tilden in spring — Berkeley is a genuinely beautiful city for maternity photography. Spring and fall especially, the light in those hills is extraordinary.

Let's Connect
You don't need your kids to behave a certain way for the session to work. They don't need to sit still, smile on cue, or interact perfectly with each other. I guide when needed, but mostly I'm paying attention to how your family already works together — that's where the connection worth remembering comes from.
As a Bay Area mom of two, I get it.
Based in nearby Alameda, I serve families throughout Berkeley — including the Elmwood, Claremont, North Berkeley, the hills, and beyond. I also serve Oakland, Piedmont, Albany, El Cerrito, and the rest of the East Bay.
Family and maternity sessions take place outdoors at locations across the Bay Area. Newborn sessions come to you, wherever home is.
I have received your message and will get back to you as soon as possible within 1-2 business days. I cannot wait to chat with you!
THANK YOU!
If you’re looking for family photos that feel natural and reflective of this stage of life, I’d love to work with you.
Share a bit about your family, the season you’re in, and what you’re hoping to remember most.
I’ll be in touch within 48 hours to begin planning something meaningful together.
I recommend reaching out during your second or third trimester — ideally by week 28 to 30. I stay flexible around your due date and confirm the session once your little one arrives.
The open meadows, the golden hills, and the sweeping bay views in the background create something genuinely breathtaking at golden hour. Late afternoon in spring and fall are the best times. Maternity sessions are best scheduled between 28 and 34 weeks.
Wardrobe greatly impacts the results of your images. I provide detailed tips on styling your family, and am available to help you coordinate outfits so everyone looks and feels beautifully in sync.
Yes — I regularly photograph newborns in Berkeley homes throughout the Elmwood, Claremont, North Berkeley, and the hills. I come to you, work with your home's natural light, and create images that feel true to your space and this moment in your family's life.
Tilden Regional Park is lovely — the open meadows and forested trails in the Berkeley Hills are stunning in every season. The Berkeley Botanical Garden is beautiful almost year round. I'll help you choose the right spot based on your family and the time of year.I also love local parks you take your family to!
Yes! I have two of my own, volunteer weekly in a school classroom of 3-5 year olds, and now primarily photograph younger families. While some children may need time to warm up to the camera, I know we will be able to capture memories you'll cherish during our session.
